Reflecting on 2024 and Welcoming 2025

Leaving behind my desire to rest at the end of the year, I diligently worked and quickly launched the website, which has now been live for about a week. I can hardly believe 2025 is already 4 days in! After launching the website, I shared the news with some of my local friends. Thanks to their support, more than 60 people have already visited the site. Some friends immediately called or texted to ask for details and send encouraging messages. I feel incredibly grateful to have so many wonderful people around me.

Reflecting on 2024, it was a year of adjustment for my husband and me as we navigated the "new normal" and focused on maintaining health. It was a challenging year with several incidents, including rushing to the ER after my husband developed colitis from eating rare barbecue, dealing with an issue with the AV fistula that required fistulagrams, and undergoing a heart cath after my husband’s stress test results from Piedmont Hospital came back abnormal (thankfully, no major issues were found!). Despite the turbulence, I am so proud of my husband for persevering.

As we step into 2025, I hope for a smoother year filled with good news. I’m also incredibly thankful to all the family, friends, and colleagues who have supported us, as well as those who have kept us in their prayers.
